Trees & Bees

The Trees & Bees Committee is charged with landscape and pollinator projects around Bangor.

The committee is responsible for planting trees, creating gardens, and finding new opportunities to make our community more friendly for pollinators.

Current Projects

Making Bangor A Bee City USA

We’re working to make Bangor become a Bee City USA. This program recognizes, supports, and encourages pollinator conservation in cities, towns, and counties.

Completed Projects

Park & Center St. Tree Planting

We planted six new trees at the intersection of Park and Center Streets to enhance aesthetics, provide shade, and improve pedestrian safety.

You can support future tree plantings by sponsoring a tree to be planted in spring 2024.
